Garden Photography - Exploring Seasons, Colours and Architecture with your camera and learn how to see every day things in a different light.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Woburn Abbey Garden Show, these photography sessions will offer you plenty of opportunity to learn how to photograph different subjects, from little hidden flowers, colourful blossoms, everyday vegetables to implementing walls and walkways to tell a story.
The course will offer something for everyone, if you are just a beginner with your first camera or more advanced. It is a great opportunity to learn the basics of Digital Garden Photography and to photograph many of the unusual plants at the show.
Your instructor for the course is Bridget Davey (www.bridgetdavey.com). Bridget has photographed Woburn Abbey Gardens & Woburn Safari Park for several years and is an internationally published professional Pet & Travel Photographer.

- How to use your cameras different features and settings, such as aperture and shutter speed
- The depth of field
- The magic of Bokeh
- How to use colours and light
- Different seasons
- Tell a story with your photos
The course fee includes admission to the Woburn Abbey Garden Show on both days.
Held in The Camellia House, the first part will be about how use your camera. After the theoretical part, you will head outside for the practical part. There will be time to ask Bridget questions and she will be on hand throughout the course to help you with the practical side of things. After your course you will have free time to enjoy the Garden Show.
Time: 10am - 1pm
Tea and Coffee vouchers are included, but lunch is not provided. Please bring your own food or alternatively take advantage of The Duchess' Tea Room, or any of the other food vendors onsite during the Garden Show.
