Walk In The Park

Visitors to the Abbey and Gardens will drive a 2.5 mile route through the Deer Park at the start of their visit and this is often a great opportunity to spot several species of deer as well as take in the park landscape.

Public Footpaths

To see more, you can take a stroll through the deer park using the designated footpaths. These can be joined from the Woburn village entrance.

Walk Your Dog

Dogs are allowed in the Deer Park but not within the Abbey Grounds or Gardens (except assistance dogs). They must be kept on a lead at all times as they can endanger the deer and themselves.

We welcome photographers in the Deer Park, but we ask that you stay on the designated footpaths. This is for your personal safety as well as that of the deer. If you would like to get closer to the deer, we run events each autumn where you can access areas of the Park not usually open to the public.
