A selection of some of the family silver and gold is displayed in these vaults. The Fourth Duke commissioned Paul de Lamerie, one of the finest Huguenot silversmiths, to make breadbaskets displayed in case nine as a wedding present to his second wife Gertrude.

There is a set of candlesticks by David Willaume, another Huguenot, who lived four miles away in the small village of Tingrith.

In the past some of the family's old outdated silver was melted down and recycled into more fashionable wares, such as the elegant and simple travelling services by John Scofield. Some of the items are used by the family today, in particular the set of twelve individual silver gilt teapots displayed in the gold vaults.
