Flower Painting Study Day new

Join us for a day of flower painting as we turn one of the rooms in the Historic North Court of Woburn Abbey into an art studio for the day.

This day is taught by artist and teacher Billy Showell, the President of The Society of Botanical Artists. Students of all abilities learn how to draw and paint in mixed media, including watercolor, aquarelle watercolor crayons, pencil, acrylics and pastels from. Your inspiration will come from a beautiful arrangement of flowers picked fresh from the Woburn Abbey gardens that morning. Students bring their own brushes, drawing boards and materials, but materials also available on the day to purchase. Easels will be provided in the room.

The Woburn Abbey Garden Show takes place on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June. The price of this painting workshop includes a ticket to Woburn Abbey Garden Show on both days. The ticket is non transferable.
